The name Hayter is renowned in the UK for the finest of lawn care equipment. The company has been in business for over 60 years and it has been busy serving the British needs ever since. Douglas Hayter began his business when he was constantly thwarted by tall grasses as he tried to make his way to the wood shed.
He assembled a roughly made mower with a dustbin bin lid and he began to mow the garden. The attention he received caused him to begin a factory to produce hand propelled lawn mowers and from there the ride-on style. One of the ride-on mowers models is known as the Hayter Heritage M10/30 which comes equipped with a 10 hp Briggs & Stratton 4 stroke engine. That is one of the world’s most favoured engines for powered machinery. Also, the Heritage comes with a rear collection or side discharge and mulcher for versatility. The padded seating arrangement is very comfortable and it is ever so easy to handle. It is an electric start and the cutting swathe is 76 cm with a single blade. The collection box is 200L and it affords effortless emptying of the grass box from the seated position. It boasts a 4.15 L capacity fuel tank with an integral tow hitch.
The machine itself comes from the dealer all cocoon wrapped in plastic, already assembled and in working order. It comes with a petrol and oil starter kit so that you can get started on that garden as soon as it arrives.
