The John Deere Company was founded by John Deere in 1837 in the American Midwest as it was becoming populated with farmers. He was a blacksmith by trade but he could visualise the need for machinery that would make digging the furrows in the ground faster and easier for planting. From that vision sprang the largest agricultural corporation in the world, serving all countries and employing 56,000 people.
John Deere and Company still thrives on the core values as formed by its founder: integrity, quality, commitment and innovation. John Deere is divided into four business segments to serve the needs of the consumer: agricultural, commercial and consumer equipment, construction and forestry and credit.
The John Deere Ride-On Mower is known world-wide for its first place in the world standings of lawn mowers. It is a more expensive machine but well worth the money. There are simpler, less expensive models coming out of production and they are also built solidly with excellent motors and craftsmanship.
The model you want depends on your needs. You might have a large garden which needs constant mowing and the John Deere can do the job with its wide cutting swathe and easy emptying of cuttings. The machine will audibly tell you when the cutting barrel is full and requires emptying. The smaller models are great for smaller gardens to get the job done quickly and efficiently. The company stands behind their name and the warranty is very good indeed. You should find that you will not go far wrong in choosing a John Deere Ride-on Mower.
